BROWN, MORRIS - Searching for info on my g-g-grandfather, Albert Lee Brown. Albert Brown was born about 1834 and I believe his parents were Joseph A. Brown (born about 1812) and Amanda Morris (Amanda was the daughter of George Morris and Martha and was born about 1815). Joseph A. Brown and wife Amanda Morris were both from Louisa County. I have Albert Brown and his mother and siblings listed in the 1850 census in Trevilians Depot, Louisa Co., VA. Albert's siblings were: John R. Brown, Joseph N. Brown and Benjamin Brown. I also have Albert listed in the 1860 Census also in Trevilians Depot, Louisa Co., VA. In the 1860 census Albert is listed with a wife, Catherine, and a daughter, Amanda E.G. Brown. Albert served in Company H, 2nd Virginia Artillery during the Civil War. He moved to the Baltimore, MD after the War and had another family, from which I descend. Any info on either the Brown or Morris families in Louisa County must appreciated. Very willing to share the info I have as well.

PAULETT: Searching for the ancestors of Thomas Paulett, b-d 1710-1771. Thomas was married first to Semiramis JOHNSON, then Elizabeth CHRISTMAS. I am trying to establish a link between this Thomas Paulett and the family of Captain Thomas Paulett, one of the original members of the House of Burgesses. Although no offspring is mentioned in Capt. Paulett’s will, I know his brother Chidiock Paulett was in Virginia at the same time, as was another possible relative, Robert Paulett, and maybe a William or Charles Paulett as well, all relatives of the Captain. The short story is…I cannot reliably go back farther than Thomas Paulett, and I am not sure what direction to go forward. J Any help would be greatly appreciated! Kindest regards
