Am searching for information on the Robert BARNETT who shows up in Louisa County Virginia on the tax rolls 1782-1787. Have seen this Robert listed as the son of James Barnett, Sr. with siblings, James, Jr., Athanatius, John and Thomas. I have a Robert Barnett in Lincoln County Kentucky who moved from Virginia into Kentucky around 1777 but went back to Virginia to get his family, this is according to Revolutionary War depositions.

Thomas Ballard SMITH 1720 d 1777 Louisa co married Anne MERIWETHER. They had 8 children but I havent been able to find PROOFS of them. I am searching for information on William BYRD who married Mary Ann HARRIS, daughter of Richard and Jane NUCKOLLS HARRIS in Louisa County on June 14, 1830. By 1850 this family is living in the Maury County, Tennessee area. William was born c. 1809 in TN or VA and died before 1860 in Tennessee. He and Mary Ann had 11 children. Their names were: Sarah Jane, George W., Lucy A., David, Frances, Martha, Emily, R.T. William, J.E. and E.P. Anyone with any information on William Byrd, I would appreciate hearing from you. I have lots of information on Mary Ann but nothing except the information that appears in this query about William Byrd. Thanks.

Esther of Orange Co. abt 1750. Supposedly Wm b. 1701 London, England m. Mary PAINTER abt 1720 and then came to Va. but unable to prove or connect to land grant.
