    GARLAND -- Searching for birth place, parents, siblings, and any other info on Sarah GARLAND b. May 12, 1760 d/o Elizabeth GARLAND. Sarah married William MEAD in Louisa Co. on March 30, 1790. Her parents were Nathaniel GARLAND and Elizabeth BIBB (d/o Henry BIBB and Eleanor FLEMING). This information from Marylea Souers DEGLER of Mattoon, IL. She is descended from John MEAD, son of Sarah GARLAND and William MEAD. I had suspected that Sarah was d/o Elizabeth MINOR, but do need to find connection with MINOR family.

    BRUCE and ULEGATE - Brightberry Bruce, born 1822/3 in Greene Co., VA, son of Loudon and Mildred Estes BRUCE, married Ellen A. ULEGATE 22 Aug. 1848 in Louisa Co. VA., died 1 May 1899. Found in census records in Louisa Co. "Southern District" and "Green Spring District". Known children Thomas F. (1850), Paul W. (1855), Samuel (1857), and Mary (1867). Looking for descendents and connections. I have information on ancestors and sibblings of Brightberry and am willing to share.

    McDONALD, Mary - Searching for her ancestry, b. c1700, Mary asserted as the m2 of Samuel Thomasson, Sr. of Fredericksville Par., Louisa Co., VA. Samuel b. 1691, d. 1753 & had m1 Hannah Glass, who d. 1722; (asserted) m2 Mary McDonald (c1722-24); m3 c1746, Temperance (nee Dumas), widow of Robert Yancey (d. 1746) of Fredericksville Par., Louisa Co., VA. I descend from Samuel Thomasson, Sr. through his daughter, Sarah Thomasson (b. c1720-30) m. Bradley Kimbrough of Fredericksville Par., Louisa Co., VA, prob. just prior to their first record as man/wife in Louisa Co.: the sale of Bradley Kimbrough's inherited land in Louisa Co., 1747. I am trying to assign Sarah Thomasson to her mother, either Hannah Glass or (asserted) Mary McDonald.

    William Chapman McDoniel(McDaniel, McDonald, McDonnell) married Mary Whitlock in Louisa Co. Va. 14 Oct. 1805. Various sources have informed us that William was born in Va.; other sources state Scotland as place of birth. Request any available information on origins of William Chapman McDoniel and any available information on the Whitlock family (Mary's ancestry).

    William ROBINSON died 1786 Louisa Co. VA. 2 daughters Dolly Robinson married Bradley Dalton 10/31/1782 St. James Northam Parish, Louisa Va.; Sarah Robinson married David Dalton 1779 in same church as above. David DALTON b. abt 1760 in Albemarle, VA; Bradley DALTON b. abt 1755 in Albemarle. Both Bradley and David seemed to move by 1800's to TN & possibly NC.

Louisa Co., Virginia, buried in Louisa or Mineral) m Bessie Beatrice HESTER (b.15 Apr 1897, Louisa Co., Virginia, d. 1954, Richmond, Virginia), abt 1915. Had issue. Bessie was daug of Robert L. & Virginia F. HESTER, Floyd was son of Jesse MARTIN. Floyd & Jesse were buried side by side.
