In loving memory of my dear wife

Our last photo together - New Years Eve

Carla was born August 16, 1960 in Baltimore, Maryland.  She was the daughter of Doris Janes and Palma Valdivia, mother of Sean and Lindsay, sister of Alicia Krizmanic, and was my dear, dear wife.

She loved her two dogs, Cinder and Dewey, and they painfully remind me each evening as they lay by the front door waiting for her to come back home.

I am burdened with a heavy heart caused by the grief and sorrow I selfishly feel.  But I take great comfort in the knowledge that soon that weight will be displaced with the tremendous love, cherished memories and the warmth that we shared in our all too brief time together.

Although I am very sad, I take great comfort in knowing that we shared a relationship that could only have been made in heaven. We were truly blessed because our love was so deep and rich.

Sweetheart, you have touched my life in ways that I could never find words to describe.

Songbird by Christine McVie
(performed by Stan and LeeAnne)

For you, there'll be no more crying,
For you, the sun will be shining,
And I feel that when I'm with you,
Its alright, I know its right

To you, I'll give the world
To you, I'll never be cold
cause I feel that when I'm with you,
Its alright, I know its right.

And the songbirds are singing,
Like they know the score,
And I love you, I love you, I love you,
Like never before.

And I wish you all the love in the world,
But most of all, I wish it from myself.

And the songbirds keep singing,
Like they know the score,
And I love you, I love you, I love you,
Like never before, like never before.
