I, Samuel Groom of the County of Louisa State of Virginia make this my last will and testament, revoking all other wills and testaments here to fore made by me. Item 1. I leave to my beloved wife Sallie A. Groom for her lifetime all my entire estate both real and personal and at her death to be equally divided between my children. John S. Williams married two of my daughters. I wish his first children being the children at my deceased daughter to have what their Mother would have been entitled to if alive which is our child’s part. Item 2. If I owe any just debts at the time of my decease, it is my wish that such property shall be sold to pay them as my wife and after named executor shall think can be best spared. Item 3. I constitute and appoint my son-in-law, John S. Williams executor of this my last will and testament. I underlined in the second line before signed Witness my hand and seal this 21st day of August 1875.
