The Core 1945
Published by The Senior Class Louisa County High School Class of 1945
Louisa County High School opened for its first session in September, 1940. This new consolidated high school absorbed the faculties and students of the three former high schools of Louisa, Mineral, and Apple Grove. Students have been transported by buses from each section of the County.
During the five years of operation the school has had two principles. From 1940-1943, Mr. Russell B. Gill was the principle. Mr. Robert H. Ballagh has been principal for the past two years
We, the class of '45, are the second graduating class to have completed four years at L.C.H.S. We are justly proud of its accomplishments during this time.
In the coming years, there are many improvements to be made. A gymnasium and cafeteria are to be built. A motion picture projector is anticipated and other features which will make the training of high school students in Louisa County more thorough and adequate.
