Ann L. Griffin who married David M. Foster received from R. O. Mills 30 Jul 1866 in deed book GG p 395 in a trust estate of 79 acres adjoining Geo. F. Dabney, Saml. Meredith, A. Bagby and others which tract was conveyed to Julia M. Armstrong & Frances Anthony trustees for sole and separate use of said Ann L. Foster wife of David M. Foster. In her will 5 Jun 1868 probated 8 Nov 1869 did dispose of said land by leaving her estate to be kept together for the use and benefit of her children until the death of the last survivor, at which time it should go to such of the descendants of her children as might then be living. At the death of the last surviving child of the said Ann L. Foster there were living the following descendants of said children who now own the estate of the said Ann L. Griffin (Foster) : R. L. Mill, whose wife is Rosa Mills; J. R. Craver whose wife is Leslie M. Craver; T. G. Craver whose wife is Lillian Craver; Mrs. R. C. Bowles, whose husband is R. C. Bowles; Mrs. A. S. Dixon, whose husband is F. F. Dixon, Blair B. Craver, and J. W. McClure husband of Mrs. Dixons mother. All of these heirs have sold the 79 acres in Louisa as well as all their title in another tract of 71 1/2 acres (now carried on Louisa Tax books as 31.40 acres in Jackson District) which came to Ann L. The said land now stands upon the commissioners books of Louisa Co. in the name of H. J. Poindexter, … departed this life more than a year ago, intestate and without issue, and leaving surviving him as his sole heir at law, his sister, the said Mrs. Emma M.
