Lett on 11 Jul 1891. Said company ceased to do any business. Lett is a non resident of State of Virginia and resides in New York City. Wilson charges Lett is real owner of 239 3/4 acres and mining equipment which he sold to Louis J.M. McKenna for $1.00 and McKenna in turn the same day sold to Margaret M. Lett for $1.00 to try to hide Lett's assets from the court and from her as a creditor of said Land Co.

By decree in chancery in cause of Estes vs. Estes pending in Louisa court Sep 21, 1897, W.H. Adams became purchaser of 27 acres upon condition he place improvements for the benefit of plaintiffs then he was to have the residue of the 27 acres above the lot on which the improvements were done. Adams having complied with the improvements on said lot has taken possession of residue of 20 acres all of which is recognized by Josephine H. Estes the widow of one of the plaintiffs. Adams has contracted to sell to A.J. Smitz 3 3/5 acres of the residue of the 20 acres for $350. Now W.H. Adams and Josephine C. Adams, his wife, of the 1st part, Josephine H. Esters of the 2nd part, to A.J. Smitz 3 3/5 acres near Mineral City being portion of the 20 acres of land purchased by William B. Estes from Reuben B. Davis estate as per survey made by Nunn adjoining Estes line where the east line of Albemarle Ave crosses to the main county road, down the county road to a point where the Estes property adjoins Mineral City on the line of block 8.
