George K. Anderson, Special Commissioner, in cause pending in style of Howard for others vs. Slate Hill Gold Mining Co. to W. R. Goodwin of 2nd part and Mineral City Mining, Manufacturing and Land Co. 3rd. Court decree 21 Mar 1887 George K. Anderson was appointed Special Commissioner to sell property known as Slate Hill Gold Mine by private bids. On 21 Mar 1890 W. R. Goodwin made an offer of $1,600 including all rights and material things thereon. W. R. Goodwin by deed 6 Aug 1890 conveyed said property to MCMM&L Co. subject to deferred payments which have been paid. This is a special warranty deed to MCMM&L Co.
