Anderson was appointed Special Commissioner to sell property known as Slate Hill Gold Mine by private bids. On 21 Mar 1890 W. R. Goodwin made an offer of $1,600 including all rights and material things thereon. W. R. Goodwin by deed 6 Aug 1890 conveyed said property to MCMM&L Co. subject to deferred payments which have been paid. This is a special warranty deed to MCMM&L Co.
