Henry W. Murray (Special Commissioner) under a decree of the Louisa Circuit Court April 1870 in chancery suit depending in which George W. May, Tandy Chewning and others plaintiffs and Josiah C. Sanner, Miletus T. Gooch and others defendants to Charles G. Trevilian all of Louisa Co. By decree of court 21 April 1859 David M. Hunter was appointed Commissioner to sell following lands belonging to said Josiah C. Sanner: 1 tract of 4 acres; 2nd tract of 63 acres, 3rd tract of 5 acres including the tavern and other buildings near the line of the Chesapeake and Ohio RR about 1 mile south of Trevilian Depot adjoining Alexander Netherland and others. Said land was sold to Charles G. Trevilian 28 July 1860 in pursuance of said decree and by a decree April 1870 Henry W. Murray was appointed Commissioner to withdraw from among the papers of the said suit all bonds executed by said Trevilian and Militus T. Gooch his security for the purchase money and to collect same. Trevilian has paid all bonds to sum to date of $1,575.75 and by special warranty deed Murray conveys the 3 tracts including the tavern house. Recorded 2 Dec. 1870.
